Charles Worthington Strength & Repair Longer & Stronger Hair Masque 150ml

I've been trying to get into a hair care routine, using some really nourishing treatments and using less heat on my hair.  I've been using the Grow Gorgeous serum each day and wearing my hair up. I have quite fine hair, so when my hair needs a bit of a boost I can often find that some treatments are just too heavy.

I wanted something that I could use once a week and that I could use while I was in the shower, which I didn't have to leave on my hair for too long.

I've used products by Charles Worthington before and they've always been really good and great value for money.  You can't repair damaged hair with a hair treatment, but you can improve its appearance.  This one claims to prevent your hair from breaking, whilst de-tangling and smoothing any frizzies by smoothing the hair cuticle, which makes your hair look healthy and leaves it easier to manage.

I absolutely love this hair treatment.  It does exactly what it says.  I've been using it once or twice a week. You simply apply it after shampooing your hair and leave it for one minute before rinsing.  It's quick and easy to use and smells so good.  My hair remains so easy to manage, glossy, while the treatment is so light.  You get a lot for your money and right now you can buy one and get the second product half price at Boots. This treatment costs just £5.99.

If you need a little bit of help choosing your second product, I'd recommend the Charles Worthington Shine Booster All Over Gloss Spray - to give your hair a glossy, beautiful shine.

I love the Charles Worthington Salon at Home range - have you tried any of the products?

Soap & Glory Hocus Focus Instant Visual Flaw-Softening Illuminator

I am absolutely loving Soap and Glory products lately - from their shower gels and scrubs to their makeup and skincare, they're yet to disappoint.

This product sounded to good to be true.  When I called into my local Boots, I noticed that Soap and Glory was on offer and I was immediately drawn to this.

The cute little bottle may look small, but a little goes a long way. This light fluid gives your skin an amazing glow. After using this my skin is left looking flawless and an imperfections are smoothed away and it doesn't look glittery! I have had so many good comments about my skin since using this.

I either like to mix a couple of drops with my BB cream or foundation - it goes perfectly with the Garnier BB cream and the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation to give an extra radiant glow.  I will certainly be buying this again.

You can buy this for £11 from Boots.  What's your favourite Soap and Glory product?

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Gel Liner

I've been trying to find a really good gel liner for a while and since I've been really impressed with Rimmel products lately, especially their foundation and mascaras.

This gel eyeliner comes in a little pot with a brush.  The brush is ok, but I'd recommend investing in a brush to improve the application of the product. This product stays in place all day, without smudging and it is so easy to apply. By the end of the day, the colour is still intense. I apply the gel in lots of small brush strokes because it's much easier this way than trying to make one continuous line. The quality and staying power of this gel eyeliner is fantastic particularly for the price.

You can get this from Boots for just £6.99.  It is available in three colours - emerald, brown and black.  If you're looking for a long-lasting liner which is easy to apply and won't smudge during the day, then this one is perfect.

Garnier BB Blur Cream

I have loved the Garnier BB Creams - I've used the original one and the anti-aging.  I'm lucky that the light shade is perfect for me.  I've always liked the texture and the natural effect they leave on the skin for an e very day, minimal effort look.  So when I saw the new Garnier BB Blur Cream, I had to give it a go.

I've been using this for probably a couple of weeks now and every time I use it I receive so many nice comments about my skin.

I find that this one is a much thinner consistency than the original version.  I like how it melts into the skin and leaves a really smooth feel  as it has a primer. I find that my skin tone is even, glowing and any imperfections are a lot less noticeable.  It also leaves the skin feeling really hydrated. My skin almost has a velvet feel to it once applied.

This claims to:

  • leave skin texture feeling smoothed.
  • blurs wrinkles, pores, and imperfections.
  • leaves skin with a matte and velvet finish.
  • moisturises and evens skin tone.

And if that wasn't enough - this has UV protection - SPF 30!

You can pick this up from Boots for just £12.99.  I'd definately recommend this and I know I'll be buying it again.

Maybelline Super Stay 14Hour Lipstick

I love pink lipstick, mainly because it suits me and I just think it can really brighten up any outfit.  I picked this up in the shade infinitely fuchsia - a rich bright fuchsia pink.  I was looking for a long lasting lipstick.  I was never expecting this to last 14 hours, but it does live up to it's name.  It passed the food and drinks test, and lasted a good few hours at least.

This states that it is:

  • Ultra lightweight formula
  • Rich pigmented colour
  • Long lasting finish

Unlike some long lasting lipsticks this one isn't drying and doesn't flake.  It feels really smooth, applies evenly  and is very pigmented.  It feels much more expensive than a high street lipstick.  These are available in 20 shades and priced at a very reasonable £6.99 in Boots and they are currently included in the 3 for 2 offer.

Topshop Bronzing Illuminator

I wanted a peach toned illuminating powder and came across this one in Topshop.  This is in the shade - reflect - it says it is a shimmering, illuminating powder which creates a deep, bronzy glow for a beautiful, sunkissed look.

You can either use all three colours together or separately to contour. This gives your skin a lovely glow, without looking like a glitterball.  The colour is stunning - not too orange, so perfect for lighter skin tones and the peach shade is really flattering. This was just £12.50 from Topshop
